First numb cream application
If you use numb creamA doctor or nurse at our partner clinic inklinic on the 1st floor applies the numb cream (with a doctor's examination on your first visit). Whether numb cream is used is determined by a doctor.

Final design consultation
If you use numb creamWhile the cream settles into the skin (about 50-70 minutes), we finalize placement, size, and details together.

Tattooing begins
The session begins. If you use numb cream, we start once the cream has had time to settle into the skin. Breaks are fine along the way.

Second application
With numb cream, if neededAround 1-2 hours into the session, a gel-type anesthetic can be added if needed. As a guide, the gel takes about 5 minutes to settle in. An inklinic doctor or nurse decides and applies it, at no extra charge. Some pain may remain even with numb cream, and sensation varies by individual.

After the session, we walk you through aftercare in detail so your tattoo heals beautifully.

You can skip numb cream entirely.
Using numb cream is entirely up to you. The price is the same either way.
With numb cream, plan about an extra hour.
Because the first application needs time to soak in, a session with numb cream takes about an hour longer overall. We spend that time on the final design consultation.
